Chili Roasted Rock Cornish Game Hens Recipe Rating: N/A

Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup oriental red chili paste with garlic(such as Sambal Olek)
2 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tbsp. fresh orange juice
2 tsp. crumbled dried oregano
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. finely grated orange peel
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 Rock Cornish Game Hens, about 1 1/4 pounds each




Directions
Combine chili paste, vinegar, orange juice, oregano, cinnamon, orange peel, salt and pepper in a blender. Blend mixture to a smooth paste. Rinse hens thoroughly. Dry with paper towels. Rub chili paste mixture all over the skin and cavities of the hens. Refrigerate hens overnight, loosely covered.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place hens in a large roasting pan. Roast hens about 1 hour until juices run clear.
