Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts 3 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 1/2 tbsp. all purpose flour 1/3 cup salt-free canned tomatoes 1/3 cup water 1 tbsp. lemon juice 4 tbsp. chopped onion 3 tbsp. poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet. Dredge chicken in flour to coat. Add to skillet and brown on all sides. Add tomatoes and water and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 30 minutes. Add lemon juice, onion, poultry seasoning, paprika, pepper and garlic powder. Simmer 15 minutes. Serve over rice or buttered noodles.
Serves 4 to 6.
