Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
8 ounces uncooked spaghetti 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped 1 cup thinly sliced celery 1 cup chopped onion 1 tbsp. butter 1 cup chicken broth 2 cups frozen, thawed green peas 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped 7 1/2 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water until dine. Drain well. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add bell pepper, celery and onion. Cook about 8 minutes until tender, stirring frequently. Add broth, peas and pepper and heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes. Stir in chicken, mushrooms and cooked spaghetti. Coat a 6 cup casserole dish with cooking spray. Transfer casserole mixture to prepared dish. Sprinkle cheddar over top. Cover tightly with foil and bake about 20 minutes until heated through.
Serves 4 to 6.
