Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 can crescent roll dough 2 cups cooked diced chicken 3 ounce package cream cheese with chives, softened 4 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained 1/2 cup crushed herbed croutons 1/4 cup finely chopped croutons 1/4 cup melted butter prepared chicken gravy
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together chicken, cream cheese and mushrooms. Stir together croutons and pecans in a pie pan. Separate crescent roll dough into sections and flatten slightly. Divide chicken mixture between dough sections. Fold crescent dough over to form pockets. Roll pockets in melted butter then in pecan mixture to coat. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake 20 to 30 minutes until golden. Serve with warm chicken gravy.
Makes 6 to 8 pockets.
