Chicken Fried Venison Steak Recipe Rating: N/A

Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1 1/2 pounds venison steaks
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cups crushed saltine crackers
3 large eggs, beaten to blend
1 cup milk
vegetable oil

Directions
Pound steaks with a mallet until about 1/2 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk together eggs and milk in a large bowl. Place crushed crackers in another large bowl. Pour oil in a large deep skillet to a depth of 1 inch. Heat oil to 350 degrees. Coat tenderized venison steaks with egg mixture then dredge in crushed crackers. Fry steaks in hot oil until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.

Serves 3 to 4.
