Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2/3 cup finely chopped canned tomatoes, drained 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed 2 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. dry white wine 1 tbsp. cornstarch 3 cups grated cheddar cheese
Directions
Combine tomatoes and garlic with butter in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until most of liquid is evaporated. Stir together wine and cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir into tomato mixture and cook, stirring, 1 minute. Discard garlic. Add cheddar and cook, stirring, until melted and smooth. Transfer to a fondue pot over a flame and serve with bread cubes, crudites, etc.
Serves 4 to 6.
