Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 tbsp. butter 1 cup chopped onion 4 tsp. all purpose flour 3 cups milk 12 ounces velvetta cheese, cubed 1 tsp. salt dash ground nutmeg 10 ounce package frozen cauliflower florets, thawed 10 ounce package frozen broccoli florets, thawed
Directions
Melt butter on a large pot. Add onion and cook until tender and browned. Stir in flour. Cook 30 seconds. Whisk in milk. Bring to a simmer. Add velveeta, salt, nutmeg, cauliflower and broccoli. Simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes until smooth and thickened.
Serves 4 to 6.
