Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cinnamon sticks, broken in half 3 cups milk 5 tsp. instant espresso or coffee powder 8 ounces chopped semisweet chocolate 3 tbsp. brandy whipped cream ground cinnamon
Directions
Combine cinnamon sticks, milk and coffee or espresso powder in a medium saucepan. Heat to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Discard cinnamon sticks. Whisk in chocolate until melted. Whisk in brandy. Divide the hot chocolate between mugs. Garnish with dollops of whipped cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
Serves 4.
