Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
6 cinnamon sticks 3 cups milk or half & half 5 tsp. instant espresso powder 8 ounces chopped bittersweet or semisweet chocolate 3 tbsp. brandy whipped cream
Directions
Break 2 cinnamon sticks in half and place in a medium saucepan. Add milk or half & half and espresso powder and heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Discard cinnamon sticks. Whisk in chocolate until melted. Stir in brandy. Portion into 4 mugs and garnish with whipped cream.
Makes 4 servings.
