Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup sugar 2 tsp. light corn syrup 1/3 cup water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 cups walnut halves
Directions
Mix together sugar, corn syrup, water and salt in a heavy medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil until a candy thermometer registers 238 degrees. Remove from heat and stir in salt, vanilla, cinnamon and walnuts. Stir to coat walnuts and turn out onto a greased sheet pan. Using 2 forks separate individual walnut halves. Let cool at room temperature. Store in a covered container and keep in a cool dry area for up to 2 weeks
