Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup all purpose flour 1 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 cups buttermilk 1 cup plain yogurt 34 cup melted butter 2 large eggs
Directions
Combine flour, oats, cornmeal and baking powder in a large bowl. Stir in buttermilk, yogurt, melted butter and eggs until well combined. Let stand 15 minutes. Preheat waffle iron on medium heat. Pour batter to cover 3/4 of grid. Bake 4 to 5 minutes until waffles are golden and steam has stopped escaping from iron.
Makes 6 to 8 waffles.
