Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
6 pounds halved chicken breasts 1/3 cup chopped pecans 2 tbsp. sesame seeds 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 cup all purpose flour 1 large egg yolk, beaten to blend 1/2 cup buttermilk 6 tbsp. melted butter 2 tbsp. whole pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together chopped pecans, sesame seeds, paprika, salt, pepper and flour. In a saeparate bowl mix together yolk and buttermilk. Dip chicken into egg mixture then coat with flour mixture. Pour the butter into a roasting pan. Add chicken and turn to coat. Bake 30 minutes. Sprinkle with whole pecans and bake 30 more minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
