Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 cups all purpose flour 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 2 cups melted butter 2 cups sugar 2 cups brown sugar 4 large eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats 2 cups corn flakes 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup shredded coconut
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter 2 cookie sheets. Sift together flour baking powder and soda. Stir in salt. Cream together butter and both sugars. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Using a wooden spoon stir in flour mixture, oats, corn flakes, chocolate, pecans and coconut. Drop 3 scoops, 1/3 cup each, onto each cookie sheet, leaving 3 inches between each cookie. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until light brown around edges. Cool 5 minutes on pan then finish cooling on racks. Store airtight at room temperature.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
