Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups cold tomato juice 1 tsp. tabasco 2 tbsp. lime juice 24 pickled cocktail onions 1 medium lime cut into 8 wedges 1 1/2 bottles (750 ml. each) chilled brut dry sparkling wine 8 thin wooden skewers
Directions
Mix tomato juice, tabasco and lime juice in a pitcher. Refrigerate. Thread 3 onions onto each wooden skewer. Place 1 skewer each in 8 champagne flutes or 8 ounce glasses. Pour 1/4 cup tomato juice mixture in each glass. Fill with sparkling wine. Squeeze and drop a lemon wedge into each glass. Stir.
Makes 8 servings.
