Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
6 tbsp. butter, chopped 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided 3 ounces chopped unsweetened chocolate 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 large eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/3 cup toasted, chopped walnuts 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 10 muffin cups with paper liners. Combine butter, 1/2 cup semisweet chips and unsweetened chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth. Remove chocolate mixture from over water and whisk in both sugars. Whisk in eggs 1 at a time. Whisk in vanilla, flour, walnuts, salt and remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. Divide batter between prepared muffin cups. Bake about 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out almost clean. Cool cupcakes on racks.
Makes 10 cupcakes.
