Sauce: 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup ketchup 1/2 cup chili sauce 1/2 cup hickory flavored barbecue sauce 1/2 cup brown sugar 6 tbsp. lemon juice 3 medium cloves garlic, peeled and crushed 2 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1/2 tsp. ground dry mustard
12 chicken thighs with skin
Directions
For Sauce: Combine soy sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, garlic, onion powder, Tabasco and dry mustard in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and simmer sauce 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Prepare grill. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Place chicken, skin side down, on a grill rack sprayed with cooking spray. Grill chicken thighs about 8 minutes until skin is browned. Turn chicken over and grill an additional 8 minutes until cooked through. Brush skin with some of the sauce. Turn skin side down and grill 2 minutes. Brush more sauce over chicken and grill 2 more minutes. Serve chicken immediately with remaining sauce.
