Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
8 ounces uncooked penne pasta 1 cup chopped red bell pepper 24 ounce bag frozen broccoli with three cheese sauce 2 cups cubed cooked chicken 1/4 cup milk 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/3 cup fine dry breadcrumbs 3 tbsp. shredded Parmesan cheese 1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning 1 tbsp. olive oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat a 13x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Heat a large saucepan of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until just done, adding bell pepper during last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain pasta mixture and return to saucepan. Prepare broccoli with cheese sauce according to the package directions. Add to pasta along with chicken, milk and cayenne. Stir to combine. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish. Stir together bread crumbs, Parmesan and Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Stir in oil. Sprinkle mixture over the top of the casserole. Bake about 20 minutes until casserole is heated through and top is golden brown.
Serves 6.
