Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
two 64 ounce bottles apple cider 1/2 cup orange juice 4 cinnamon sticks, broken in half 2 tbsp. dark brown sugar 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. lime juice 4 whole cloves 1/4 tsp. ground allspice 1 1/2 cups bourbon
Directions
Combine cider, orange juice, cinnamon sticks, sugar, lemon juice, lime juice, cloves and allspice in a large pot. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 30 minutes. Strain cider and discard spices. Stir in bourbon and serve hot.
Makes about 3 quarts cider.
