Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
3 strips bacon, diced
1 small onion, peeled and chopped
1 can pork and beans
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tbsp. catsup

Directions
Fry bacon in a large skillet until halfway done. Add onion. Cook until lightly browned. Pour off grease from skillet. Add pork and beans, brown sugar, vinegar and catsup. Simmer 30 to 40 minutes, or, alternately, transfer beans to a baking dish and bake 2 hours at 300 degrees.

Serves 4.
