Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Creole Mayonnaise: 1 1/2 cups prepared mayonnaise 1/3 cup prepared Creole mustard
Topping: 24 tomato slices 24 thin slices red onion 1/4 cup prepared oil and vinegar salad dressing
Burgers: 12 hamburger patties 3/4 cup Cajun seasoning 12 slices Monterey Jack cheese 12 onion kaiser buns, split
Directions
For Creole mayonnaise: Stir together mayonnaise and Creole mustard in a small bowl until well blended. Cover and refrigerate.
For Topping: Toss together tomato slices, red onion slices and salad dressing in a medium bowl. Cover and set aside.
For Burgers: Preheat grill. Season beef patties on both sides with Cajun seasoning. Grill burgers until done. Top each burger with 1 slice Monterey Jack. Cover and grill until cheese is melted.
To Serve: Spread 1 tbsp. Creole mayonnaise on the cut side of each kaiser roll. Places 2 slices tomato and 2 slices red onion on each bottom bun half. Top with burgers and top of buns. Serve immediately.
Serves 12.
