Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup softened butter 2 large eggs 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup light corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla extract 3/4 cup quick cooking oatmeal 1 cup chopped pecans one 8 or 9 inch unbaked pie shell
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine softened butter, eggs, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and oatmeal in a large bowl. Mix until well blended. Pour mixture into the unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pecan over top. Place pie on a sheet pan. Bake about 45 minutes until pie is set. Transfer pie to a rack and cool.
Makes one 8 or 9 inch pie.
