Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup uncooked long grain rice 5 tbsp. butter 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup peeled, chopped carrot 2/3 cup chopped green onion 3 tbsp. sesame seeds 5 large eggs, beaten to blend 5 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions
Cook rice according to package directions. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onion, carrots and green onions. Cook until tender, stirring occasionally. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place sesame seeds on a sheet pan and toast 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Lightly grease a large skillet and place over medium-high heat. Add eggs and scramble. Add rice, vegetables and sesame seeds. Stir in soy sauce, salt and pepper.
Serves 2 to 4.
