Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2/3 cup coarse chopped Oreo cookies 2 large eggs 3/4 cup sugar 2 cups heavy or whipping cream 1 cup milk 2 tsp. peppermint extract
Directions
Cover and refrigerate cookies until cold. Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add sugar gradually. Beat 1 minute. Add cream and beat until streaks from beaters show. Add milk and extract, mix 10 seconds. Transfer to ice cream maker and process. When ice cream is almost done add cookies. Finish ice cream. Freeze at least 2 hours before serving.
Makes 1 quart.
