Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 pounds large shrimp in the shell without heads 1 lemon, thinly sliced 1 small onion, peeled and thinly sliced 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced 1 bay leaf 1 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning 1 tsp. salt 12 ounce bottle lager-style beer 1/2 cup cider vinegar
Directions
Toss together shrimp, lemon, onion, celery, bay leaf, Old Bay seasoning and salt in a large bowl. Cover and let stand 15 minutes. Bring beer and vinegar to a boil in a large pot. Place shrimp with marinade in a large steamer insert. Cover and steam shrimp over beer 3 minutes. Stir shrimp. Recover and steam an additional 3 to 5 minutes until shrimp is just cooked through.
Serves 4 to 6.
