Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 cups beer(not dark) 1/4 cup Bavarian style mustard 2 tbsp. ketchup 4 large onions, peeled and sliced 12 uncooked bratwurst sausages
Directions
Stir together beer, mustard and ketchup in a deep skillet. Add 1 sliced onion to beer mixture. Heat mixture to a boil and add bratwursts. Reduce heat and simmer bratwurst 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Meanwhile preheat grill. Remove bratwursts from beer mixture. Place bratwurst on the hot grill along with remaining 3 sliced onions. Grill, turning bratwursts and onions occasionally, about 5 minutes until sausages are cooked through and onions are golden brown. Serve immediately.
Serves 12.
