6 fish steaks of your choice, each about 3/4 inch thick 1 cup fresh bread crumbs 8 tbsp. margarine, diced 1 cup beer 2 bay leaves, crumbled 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place fish steaks on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle bread crumbs over fish and dot liberally with margarine. Combine beer, bay leaves, salt and pepper in a small saucepan. Heat just until beer is warm. Pour beer mixture into baking pan, making sure it doesn't reach the rack.
