Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound lean round steak
1/4 cup flour, sifted
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup beef broth
1/2 tsp. dry thyme
4 ounce can sliced mushrooms with liquid
10 ounces frozen peas
1/2 cup sour cream



Directions
Remove bone from round steak if necessary and trim fat. Slice into narrow strips. Stir together flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add meat and brown on all sides. Stir in onion, broth, thyme and liquid from mushroom can. Cover and simmer until meat is tender approx. 45 minutes. Add mushrooms and peas. Cover and cook 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat through but don\'t let boil. Serve over cooked rice, noodles, etc.
