Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 1/3 cups brown sugar 15 ounce can tomato sauce 1 cup cider vinegar 1 large onion, peeled and chopped 6 tbsp. Dijon mustard 4 tsp. dried thyme 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cayenne pepper 12 pieces chicken(breasts, thighs, legs, etc.)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat the inside of a large roasting pan with cooking spray. Combine brown sugar, tomato sauce, vinegar, onion, Dijon, thyme, salt and cayenne in a medium saucepan. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the prepared pan. Brush chicken with some of the sauce. Roast chicken about 60 minutes until cooked through, basting every 15 minutes with remaining sauce.
Serves 6.
