Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 to 2 1/2 pounds flank steak 2 large tomatoes, quartered 1 large green bell pepper, cored, seeded and sliced into thin rings 1 large Bermuda onion, peeled and sliced into thin rings 4 ounce can whole button mushrooms, drained 2 tbsp. cold butter, diced 3 tbsp. chili sauce 3 tbsp. catsup 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat the inside of a large, shallow baking pan with cooking spray. Place steak in the prepared pan. Cover steak with tomato quarters, bell pepper rings, onion rings and mushrooms. Dot butter over vegetables. Stir together chili sauce, catsup and worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Pour mixture over vegetables. Bake uncovered, about 45 minutes until steak is tender. Thinly slice steak across the grain and serve.
