1/4 cup dark brown sugar 4 tsp. garlic salt 4 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. celery salt 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp. white pepper 2 racks baby back ribs, about 2 pounds each 1/4 cup honey 1 cup prepared barbecue sauce
Directions
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Stir together the sugar, garlic salt, chili powder, salt, pepper, celery salt, cayenne and white pepper in a small bowl. Place the ribs, meaty side up, on a baking pan and rub with the spice mixture. Bake 2 1/2 hours. Meanwhile, stir together the honey and barbecue sauce in a medium bowl. Brush 1/2 the sauce over the ribs. Cover the pan with foil and bake 1 hour. Increase the oven to 400 degrees. Uncover the ribs and brush with the remaining sauce. Bake the ribs an additional 15 minutes. Transfer the ribs to a cutting board and tent with foil. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut between the bones to separate and serve the ribs immediately.
