Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
9 pound smoked ham, bone in 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/2 tbsp. ground cloves 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 tsp. mace 1 tbsp. spicy mustard 2 tbsp. fresh orange juice
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Score the ham, place in a large roasting pan and pour vinegar over. Stir together 3/4 tsp. cloves, nutmeg and pepper. Rub all over ham. Bake 30 minutes. Reduce oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 3 1/2 hours. Stir together brown sugar, mace, mustard, orange juice and remaining cloves. Turn off oven and brush ham with the mustard mixture. Return ham to turned off oven for 30 minutes.
Serves approximately 10 to 12.
