Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3/4 cup butter, divided 1 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup chopped onion 14.75 ounce can cream style corn 1 cup water 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 6 cups herb seasoned poultry stuffing mix 3 large egg yolks, beaten to blend
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease the inside of a 10x15 inch baking dish. Melt 1/2 cup of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add celery and onion and cook about 5 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in the cream corn, water, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and let the corn mixture stand 5 minutes. Place the poultry stuffing in a large bowl and pour the corn mixture over. Add the yolks and stir gently until well blended. Scoop 1/2 cupfuls of the stuffing mixture and roll into balls. Place the balls in the prepared dish. Melt the remaining 1/4 cup butter and drizzle over the stuffing balls. Bake about 30 minutes until the stuffing balls are lightly browned and heated through. Serve hot.
