Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
6 pounds chicken breast halves 1/2 cup chopped pecans 2 tbsp. sesame seeds 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 cup all purpose flour 1 large egg yolk 1/2 cup buttermilk 6 tbsp. melted butter 2 tbsp. whole pecan halves
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together chopped pecans, sesame seeds, paprika, salt, pepper and flour in a medium bowl. In a second bowl, whisk together the yolk and buttermilk. Dip the chicken in the buttermilk mixture then dredge in the flour mixture to coat. Pour the melted butter into a large roasting pan. Add chicken and turn to coat. Bake chicken 30 minutes. Sprinkle chicken with whole pecans and bake an additional 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Serves 8.
