Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3 to 4 large bass fillets 2/3 cup thinly sliced sweet onion 2 stalks celery, minced 2 medium carrots, peeled and diced 1 cup chopped green bell pepper 1/2 cup dry white wine 2 tsp. lemon juice pinch dried basil 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse bass fillets and pat dry with paper towels. Line a baking dish with foil. Spread the onion slices over the bottom of the dish. Place bass fillets over onions. Sprinkle celery, carrots and bell pepper over fish. Stir together wine, lemon juice, basil, salt, pepper and parsley in a small bowl. Pour mixture over bass. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until fish flakes easily.
Serves 2 to 3.
