Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Filling: 1 pound fresh red or purple plums, pitted and sliced 1 pound fresh nectarines, pitted and sliced 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 2 tbsp. all purpose flour
Topping: 1/2 cup old fashioned oats 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup all purpose flour 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon pinch salt 5 tbsp. butter, room temperature
Directions
For Filling: Toss together plums, nectarines, brown sugar, cinnamon and flour in a large bowl. Transfer filling to a 9 inch pie dish.
For Topping: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt in a food processor. Add butter and pulse until topping is crumbly. Sprinkle topping evenly over fruit. Bake crisp about 45 minutes until filling is bubbly. Remove crisp from the oven and let stand a few minutes before serving. Serve hot, warm or at room temperature.
Serves 4 to 6.
