Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar 1 cup toasted chopped pecans 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 4 large granny smith apples. cored, peeled and thinly slices, about 6 cups 3 cups fresh or frozen, thawed cranberries
Topping: 1 cup all purpose flour 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup softened butter or margarine 1 large egg, beaten to blend
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 2 quart casserole dish. Mix together sugar, pecans, flour, cinnamon, apples and cranberries in a large bowl. Pour into prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle topping over fruit mixture and bake 40 to 45 minutes until topping is golden. Serve warm.
For Topping: Mix flour and sugar in a medium bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in egg.
Serves 6 to 8.
