Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
Pie: 1 cup canned solid-pack pumpkin 1 cup apple butter 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp. salt 3 large eggs, beaten to blend 1 cup evaporated milk one 9 inch prepared pie shell
Topping: 3 tbsp. butter, softened 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup chopped pecans
Directions
For Pie: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together pumpkin, apple butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, eggs and milk. Pour into pie shell and bake 50 to 60 minutes until a knife comes out clean, covering crust edges with foil if browning too quickly. Sprinkle topping over and bake an additional 15 minutes.
For Topping: Stir together butter, flour, sugar and pecans to form coarse crumbs.
Makes one 9 inch pie.
