Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup butter 1 cup sliced almonds 1 pound finely diced country ham 3 cups crumbled day-old cornbread 1 cup thin sliced green onions 2 tsp. crumbled dried thyme 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions
Melt butter in a large skillet. Add almonds and cook 1 to 2 minutes until golden. Stir in ham. corn bread and green onions. Cook 1 minute. Stir in thyme and parsley and cook until butter is absorbed, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
Serves 4 to 6.
