Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 tbsp. olive oil 1/2 cup minced onion 1/2 cup fine chopped green onion 1/2 cup minced red bell pepper 3 canned jalapenos seeded, minced 1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic 1/4 tsp. dry thyme 1 1/2 cups ketchup 3/4 cup canned crushed tomatoes 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
Cook onions, bell pepper, jalapenos, garlic and thyme with oil about 10 minutes or until tender. Stir in ketchup, tomatoes and pepper. Simmer, partially covered until thickened approx. 5 minutes. Cover and refrigerate.
Makes approx. 2 1/2 cups.
