10 tbsp. butter, softened 1/3 cup dark brown sugar 1/3 cup powdered sugar 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 4 finely chopped toffee candy bars 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat an 8x8 inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper. Beat together butter, brown sugar and powdered sugar on medium speed about 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add flour and beat 30 seconds on low speed until crumbs form. Press 2 3/4 cups crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle chopped candy bars and chocolate chips. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Refrigerate until cooled and firm. Remove from pan and remove parchment paper. Cut into 9 large bars.
Makes about 9 bars.
