Ingredients   (view qty in metric system instead)
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 large eggs
1 pound can cream style corn
13 ounce can evaporated milk
1/2 stick cold butter, sliced
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Stir together sugar and cornstarch. Add eggs, corn and milk and stir until well combined. Spoon into baking dish and dot with butter. Bake until center is almost firm, approx. 1 hour.

Serves 6 to 8.
